Valerie is an MSc Landscape Architect, having studied at the University of Edinburgh. She has previously worked in offices in Glasgow and Hong Kong, in both the public and private sector, in multidisciplinary teams.

She has worked on projects in both urban and rural settings in the UK and beyond. With her multicultural background Valerie easily interprets the physical and cultural context of a new environment to provide suitable design solutions.

Valerie is currently assisting on a range of projects with the Austin-Smith:Lord landscape team. She is looking forward to expanding her project experience and working towards Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute.
