Sharron Joined Austin-Smith:Lord in October 2025 as our Bid Coordinator. She provides practice-wide support to our sector leaders and technical teams submitting proposals for new projects, particularly those with a strong regeneration focus delivering social and environmental improvements. Sharron also supports the marketing function of the practice.

I’m delighted to be joining Austin-Smith:Lord, not just as someone who appreciates architecture—old and new—as well as interiors and landscapes, but as someone whose career has quite literally been shaped by it. 

When working at Cardiff Metropolitan University, she found herself increasingly drawn to one part of campus—not just because of what was happening inside, but because of the space itself. The School of Management building has such a strong presence and clear sense of purpose, and made the leap to join the Management faculty after achieving her MBA. 

The new Art Block opened on same campus, allowing Sharron to enter into the creative environment—exploring exhibitions of art and craft or retreating to the peaceful top floor for a quiet moment away from the busy atrium.  Each space has its own unique atmosphere.
