LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE
HEAD OF DISCIPLINE :
As landscape architects we understand the value of creating thriving spaces which deliver a range of social, economic, environmental and wellbeing benefits. We use our knowledge of horticulture, land use, planning and ecology to create spaces that are pleasing and uplifting and which complement the streetscapes and architecture. We offer a breadth of expertise developed over many years in all aspects of landscape design including: masterplanning; urban renewal; impact assessments, restoration; and community consultation.
Strategic planning, public engagement, delivery and management, a commitment to sustainability and biodiversity and our track record of working collaboratively with clients and other professionals underpins our approach to landscape design. Our exhaustive and inclusive method is demonstrated in projects such as the re-modelling of Colquhoun Square in Helensburgh and creation of an ‘Outdoor Museum; a major public realm project which is rejuvenating Bridgegate in North Ayrshire; the transformation of Merthyr Tydfill Lower High Street into a café quarter; and the masterplanning of Piccadilly Place in Manchester’s city centre.
