Following graduation Victoria joined the practice’s Cardiff studio and recently qualified as an architect, gaining her Part 3 supported by an excellent range of work experience and Austin-Smith:Lord’s Graduate Development and Training Programme.
Victoria’s relationship with Austin-Smith:Lord began having won one of the 2014 RIBA Wren Insurance Scholarships awarded to just five students across the whole of the UK. Through this award Victoria received mentoring from senior architects with the practice during her Thesis project on Care Cooperative in rural environments, using care in the community as a driver for sustainable regeneration in post-industrial villages.
Victoria has a passion for excellence in design and for projects that have the potential to regenerate and enhance communities. She is currently focusing on a range of projects, particularly those within the education and social housing sectors and has already established a great portfolio of project experience including the award winning new Aberdare Campus for Coleg y Cymoedd.
