Civic Trust Award Commendation for Two Austin-Smith:Lord Conservation Projects

Austin-Smith:Lord’s Grade I Listed Llanelly House in Carmarthen, and Grade II* Listed Shrewbury Museum and Art Gallery in Shropshire, were awarded Civic Trust  AABC Conservation Commendation Awards at the 56th Annual Civic Trust Awards Ceremony. The prestigious awards took place at The Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London on Friday evening.

Established in 1959, the Civic Trust Awards recognise the very best architecture, design, planning, landscape and public art projects throughout the UK and the world. Awards and Commendations are given to projects, like Llanelly House and Shrewsbury Museum, that not only excel in these areas but also demonstrate sustainability, user accessibility, and have made a positive contribution to society and the local community.
