We are delighted that Maelfa Older Persons Independent Living project, a scheme we are developing for Cardiff Council, has received unanimous support at Planning Committee. The project is a part of the ongoing transformation of the Maelfa neighbourhood, with Austin-Smith:Lord having been previously involved in the masterplanning and delivery of mixed used, housing and public realm spaces for the wider regeneration of the area.

The high quality sheltered housing development, consisting of 41 care-ready flats, will provide modern, spacious homes for older people to ensure residents can live a full and active life in an accessible location. The development revolves around interconnected communal spaces to offer opportunities for social interaction and sharing activities.
