Shakespeare North Playhouse has been shortlisted for the prestigious 2024 RIBA North West Awards. This recognition reinforces the project’s international significance and its deep roots within the local community.

Performance, storytelling, learning, having a go and hanging out are stimulated and inspired by a recreated historic theatre which can transform to a contemporary space. Featuring a main auditorium, studio theatre, enchanting performance garden, bustling public piazza, inviting learning space, and vibrant foyers complete with café and bar, Shakespeare North Playhouse offers an immersive experience for all.
