Graham Ross

Graham joined Austin-Smith:Lord in 1998 having studied at Edinburgh College of Art and the Technische Universität Berlin, graduating with Masters in both Architecture and Urban Design.

Graham is an Executive Director of Austin-Smith:Lord. As an architect, urban designer and planner, he has been involved in a wide range of projects throughout the UK and Ireland.

Graham is a Fellow of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland, a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, an Academician of the Academy of Urbanism, a Recognised Practitioner of the Urban Design Group and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Graham has contributed to several published pieces of research undertaken for the Scottish Government. His work has received numerous awards, including five Scottish Design Awards.

As an Executive Board member with over 27 years of architectural experience, Martin combines key practice-wide leadership roles with pro-active involvement in projects, particularly those within the education and commercial sectors. His highly collaborative approach and experience has positively influenced the successful delivery of projects across a wide range of sectors for both public and private sector clients.

Martin has further practice-wide responsibilities for Quality and Environmental Management, together with Health and Safety.

Neil Chapman

NEIL CHAPMAN

Working in Hong Kong, Neil focused almost entirely on urban design and, in particular, upon the creation of a series of New Town Parks and major infrastructure projects throughout the New Territories. Since returning to the UK, he has continued in this field and as Executive Director for Landscape and Urban Design at Austin-Smith:Lord, his portfolio includes a variety of landscape and townscape projects, for both public and private sector clients, including the recently completed ‘heart-space for Teesside University .

Richard Cronin

RICHARD CRONIN

Richard joined Austin-Smith:Lord in 1996 and has considerable experience across a variety of sectors, for a variety of public and private clients. As well as specialising in transport he has worked substantially across the industry, and has completed commercial and industrial assignments for both private developers and the public sector. Considering the breadth and depth of his experience, therefore, Richard is an essential part of the design and delivery process with Austin-Smith:Lord. He is both practically and technically skilful, and enjoys a reputation for delivering high profile, high quality innovative architecture.
